Vietnam Is Still The Largest Import Market Of Leather And Footwear In China

Vietnam's customs Online reported on August 24 that China was the largest import market of raw and auxiliary materials for Vietnam's textile, clothing and leather footwear industries in the first seven months, with a year-on-year drop of 12%, but it still accounted for 49% of the total imports of such products, reaching about 5.88 billion US dollars, according to the statistics of Vietnam's General Administration of customs.

In the first seven months, Vietnam's total imports of raw and auxiliary materials for textile, clothing, leather and footwear industries were about 12.02 billion US dollars, down 16% year-on-year, making it the largest import decline.
