Standard Quality: The Six Indicators Of Cotton Public Inspection Quality Of XPCC Are Higher Than The National Level In The Same Period

It was learned from the Market Supervision Administration of the Corps that, according to the data of China Fiber Quality Monitoring Center, up to now, compared with the autonomous region and the whole country, the quality of cotton public inspection of the Corps is higher than that of the autonomous region and the whole country in terms of six indicators, namely, color grade, rolling quality, average length, micronaire value, average length uniformity, and average breaking strength.

The data shows that the cotton color grade ratio of the Corps is 85.8%, the rolling quality (P1+P2) ratio is 99.89%, the average length is 29.18mm, the micronaire value (A+B) ratio is 92.6%, the average length uniformity value is 82.45%, and the average specific breaking strength is 29.46cN/tex.

It is reported that, according to the unified deployment of the Corps, each cotton planting division city has implemented various measures to improve the quality of fine cotton. The number of cotton varieties over 10000 mu has further decreased compared with 2021, and the consistency and uniformity of cotton fiber quality have further improved; Cotton planting farms strictly implement various measures of cotton field management and strict harvest management, with defoliation rate of 90% and boll opening rate of 95%; Cotton processing enterprises actively upgrade processing and testing equipment, improve the level of technology, and implement the main responsibility of processing quality; Promote and implement the measures required by "one trial and five determinations", different fiber management, stacking and rolling of different varieties and grades, deepen the cotton quality supervision and notarization inspection, standardize the inspection process, strengthen the special treatment of mixed grades of different fibers and mixtures, and promote the classified supervision, credit supervision, risk monitoring, early warning and disposal of enterprises. As of January 26, the XPCC had inspected 1.758 million tons of cotton, accounting for 38.7% of the country's total, and completed the evaluation of 293 cotton processing enterprises for their honest operation.

Tao Weiguo, Deputy Director of the Supervision Division of the Market Supervision Administration Bureau of the Corps, said that in 2022, the Corps will accelerate the pace of improving cotton quality and efficiency, implement the cotton production quality award and subsidy policy, and gradually improve the cotton quality traceability system. The scope of cotton quality traceability pilot projects will be expanded from 7 divisions in 2021 to 11 divisions, and the quality traceability award standard will be increased from 0.2 yuan to 0.4 yuan per kilogram, Encourage workers to plant cotton well and benefit more; Carry out differentiated quality subsidy policy of high quality and high price, carry out award and subsidy work for improved cotton varieties, and further improve cotton quality.
