This makes export enterprises quite passive in the face of technical measures.
Putian is an important production base for sports shoes in China. It is also the world famous brand production base for sports shoes. There are more than 2000 shoe factories and 500 thousand employees in the city, and the output exceeds 1 billion 200 million pairs in 2009.
Footwear has always been one of the most important parts of Putian's foreign trade. It has been exported to 143 countries and regions all over the world. There is no footwear trade with Europe that can not be restricted by the REACH system.
How to stride over trade barriers and actively deal with the risks and pressures brought by REACH regulations has become the focus of attention and heated discussion of export shoe enterprises.
On the day's training meeting, JoeyFan, a senior expert from TUVSUD, analyzed and explained the substantive impact of REACH regulations on China's export footwear enterprises, and made detailed guidance to shoe manufacturers to prepare for the REACH regulations.
The experts also communicated with participants and answered the questions raised by managers of shoe enterprises.
The training for the majority of shoe enterprises in the process of responding to REACH regulations can actively change the passive initiative, effectively respond to the challenges and pressures brought by the REACH regulations has played a good role in promoting, and has been unanimously acknowledged and highly appreciated by participating enterprises.
