More than 30 representatives of Vietnam's industry also attended the meeting. More than 40 entrepreneurs from China's Guangdong province attended the opening ceremony of the conference.

Mr. Ngugen Duc Thuan, chairman of the Vietnam leather and Footwear Association, made a welcome speech to the general assembly, and suggested that the conference will share the experience of member countries around the three topics.

He said that Vietnam leather and footwear association is a very active industry organization, which contributes greatly to Vietnam's economic development, and its footwear products become Vietnam's third largest export product.

Vietnam has great advantages in the cost of shoemaking industry, with convenient investment and preferential policy support, and hopes that the participating member states will firmly invest in Vietnam.

The member states' organizations submitted the report on the footwear industry to the general assembly, made excellent speeches and exchanged industry information extensively.

Li Yuzhong, vice chairman of China Leather Association, delivered a speech on behalf of China, giving a comprehensive account of China's macroeconomic situation and the opportunities and challenges facing China's footwear industry.

Through this meeting, representatives of various countries deepened their understanding of the macroeconomic situation and the footwear industry of each country, and agreed to develop together to promote industrial harmony and progress.

At the same time, the twenty-ninth world footwear industry conference adopted the third international footwear design competition, which has promoted the improvement of footwear design level in various countries, and implemented the competition procedure in accordance with the rules of competition drafted by the Hongkong Footwear Association.

In addition to attending the IFC meeting, representatives of the participating member states and enterprises also visited the twelfth footwear industry.

The success of this IFC conference has provided an opportunity for all industries to learn and communicate.

In particular, the keynote speech by Mr. Peter T.Mangione, executive chairman of the US GFP company, is very useful for countries to understand the US market. The Hongkong footwear industry association has made a detailed analysis of the factors affecting the cost of footwear industry in mainland China, compared the requirements of labor costs in different provinces, and made some suggestions for the development of China's footwear industry in the future.

The footwear industry association of Taiwan has been spending 20 years on the development of footwear industry in Taiwan, and has been pferred to the mainland for 20 years. Now they are starting to move to the central part of China. There will also be 20 years of development opportunities. In addition, China's political stability and investment environment are good. Although there are pressures of rising labor costs, they can be digested. They are very optimistic about the sustainable development of China's footwear industry.
