Pravin Gordhan, Commissioner of customs and Excise Department of South Africa, signed the agreement between the two customs to strengthen bilateral cooperation with the director general of Customs of China, Mo Xin, in order to carry out the anti smuggling activities between the two countries by lawful means.

South Africa is one of China's largest trading partners. South Africa exports to China, which accounts for eighth of the country's exports, including aluminum, platinum and chromium, and imports from China include machinery, clothing and shoes.
