According to statistics, exports of footwear products in Wenzhou in July were 2 billion 606 million US dollars, up 28.7% over the same period last year.

In terms of footwear exports, the Jin Di footwear industry stabilized its first export position in July, with exports amounting to more than 8523 US dollars, an increase of 33.8% over the same period last year. Its exports to the EU market increased significantly, up 38% from the same period last year.

Zhu Jianyong, chairman of Jindi footwear industry, said that the main products exported were women's shoes priced at a pair of 10 dollars or so, and the export of leather shoes increased slightly as the EU ended anti-dumping duties on Chinese leather shoes.

In terms of clothing exports, tengxu clothing and fans are leading the way, and the growth is mainly reflected in the EU market.

Zheng Chenai, President of the city clothing trade association, said that the increase of 37% was partly due to the efforts made by garment enterprises in recent years to improve their skills and R & D strength, so that many foreign trade orders were pformed from the original OEM (original factory commissioned) mode to ODM (original factory commissioned Design), and orders would not be easily pferred to the mainland cities with lower production costs; on the other hand, in recent years, many enterprises in our city actively "go out" and go to exhibitions in Hongkong, Guangzhou and even Europe to take the initiative to show themselves, and gradually accumulated a lot of customer resources.

According to customs statistics, the total value of foreign trade and import and export in Wenzhou from 1 to July was $11 billion 842 million, an increase of 28.6% over the same period last year.

Of which, foreign trade exports amounted to 10 billion 71 million US dollars, and foreign trade imports amounted to US $1 billion 771 million, totaling US $8 billion 300 million in trade surplus.

The trade volume of the four main trading markets of the European Union, the United States, Russia and ASEAN increased by more than 25% in the first half of July, representing 3 billion 168 million US dollars, 1 billion 320 million US dollars, 841 million US dollars and 735 million US dollars respectively, of which the ASEAN market grew by 40% over the same period last year.
