Chongqing Smes Pay Interest Nearly 30% Of Their Profits

Yesterday, Chongqing SME Bureau released the production of small and medium-sized enterprises in Chongqing in September.

In 1~9 months this year, more than 3/4 of the 309 monitoring enterprises increased their operating income over the same period last year, achieving a total operating income of 46 billion 823 million yuan, an increase of 23.97% over the same period last year.

In terms of economic benefits, 50 of the 309 enterprises are losing money, accounting for 16.2%.

In addition, the financing cost of enterprises is further increased.

SME stakeholders said that the current level of loan interest rates is at a higher level.

At the same time, the phenomenon of "triangle debt" among enterprises has risen. Some enterprises have paid the money back to the acceptance bill, and the discount rate of the acceptance bill increases with interest rate.

Monitoring shows that more than 90% of the 309 enterprises have interest payments, and interest expenses are equivalent to 28% of the profits of the same period.
