The free trade agreement has an advantage over Mexico in terms of agriculture and animal husbandry than Mexico's free trade agreement with Japan, because Mexico faces 38 million of the population in the Central American market.

The Deputy Minister of external trade said that the signing of the free trade agreement between Mexico and Central American countries will expand the share of Mexico's exports in the region.

According to financiers, in 2010, Mexico invested 5 billion 200 million US dollars in these countries, with a trade volume of US $6 billion 500 million, of which exports and imports amounted to US $3 billion 600 million and US $2 billion 900 million respectively.
