Jointly sponsored by the Ministry of culture of People's Republic of China and the Shenzhen Municipal People's government, the Ministry of culture, the Propaganda Department of the Shenzhen municipal Party committee and the Shenzhen sports and Tourism Bureau have undertaken the work. In 2008, the Art Department of the Ministry of culture jointly sponsored the first national art design exhibition with China Central Academy of Fine Arts. During the 2009 World Design Conference, the second national art and design exhibition was hosted by the Ministry of culture. The "China Design Exhibition" is not only a continuation of previous exhibitions, but also a great difference from the first two exhibitions in terms of location, content and scale. The "China Design Exhibition" will build a national exhibition platform with more professional influence and authority. It will bring together and display the latest achievements in the development of contemporary design, lead and promote the innovation and development of Chinese design, and promote the sustainable development of China's design and creative industries.

I. The theme, theme and purpose of the exhibition.

The theme of this "China Design Exhibition" is "Times Creation". The era makes Chinese design and design lead the trend of the times. The China design exhibition aims to encourage Chinese design innovation and promote social progress. The Organizing Committee of the "China Design Exhibition" is set up. The leaders and members of the organizing committee are headed by the organizers, contractors and co organizers. The organizing committee set up an office to take charge of the daily work of the organizing committee. The exhibition set up academic committees and curatorial teams. The academic committee is responsible for providing academic support and professional support for exhibition programmes, works review and other exhibitions. The exhibition team is composed of experts who are well-known at home and abroad by the organizing committee. Under the guidance of the academic committee, they are responsible for selecting and inviting parts of the exhibition.

Three, exhibition content

" China Design Exhibition It is composed of main exhibitions, peripheral exhibitions and academic activities. The main exhibition is the core of the design exhibition, which is divided into four sections: graphic design, product design, space design and spanboundary design. Considering the complexity and self-organization of architectural design and costume design, the exhibition does not contain these two aspects, but it will be reflected in academic activities.

In addition, in order to expand the academic achievements of the exhibition, promote the exchange of design and promote the interaction and spanformation of design and industry, a series of peripheral exhibitions and academic activities will be held during the "China Design Exhibition". Among them, the academic forum will be hosted by the school of design, Shenzhen University, with China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts and Academy of Fine Arts as academic support units. It is an open forum that brings together scholars, industry leaders and independent designers at home and abroad. Four. Collection of works

(1) scope of solicitation

All the design companies, offices, design institutes and designers of the "China Design Exhibition" are invited to collect works. Chinese designers (institutions including Chinese and overseas Chinese) can also declare designs and projects designed in foreign countries. Taking into account the situation of the previous two national art and design exhibitions, as well as presenting the latest outstanding achievements in the art of design, the collection of this exhibition is limited to works created since January 2008.

The collection time of "China Design Exhibition" is from May 30, 2012 to September 31, 2012.

(three) solicitation method

Due to the cross industry and cross departmental characteristics of the design field, in order to fully explore and mobilize the excellent resources in the design field, the exhibition is organized by the curatorial team nomination and extensive collection. At the same time, the curatorial team will also be responsible for the selection of works. In the important design projects at home and abroad, the qualification and award of the important exhibition competitions will be the important reference conditions for being invited to participate in the exhibition. The academic committee will review the invited works and the collection works, and eventually will enter the exhibition through the evaluation works.
