Ten years ago, the yarn exhibition was born in the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall of Beijing. In the tenth years of the successful yarn exhibition, because of various reasons, it may be a cycle or a result of ten years of learning. And this achievement is undoubtedly gratifying. This year's yarn exhibition is the largest in both history and exhibition area. The number of overseas exhibitors is also breaking through in the past. Textile and yarn enterprises from India, Pakistan and other major cotton producing countries have been participating in the exhibition. The splendid activities of the China Pavilion will also add to the icing on the cake.

Ten years ago, a sudden SARS disrupted the lives of people. At the same time, China's international yarn and textile exhibition, which was originally planned to be held in Shanghai, had to be transferred to Beijing. In 2004, the first China International yarn and textile exhibition was held at the national agricultural exhibition hall. The ten years witnessed both the rapid development of the textile industry and the growth of enterprises. Huang Chimu, director of the four exhibition of the textile industry branch of the China Council for the promotion of international trade, said: "during the past ten years, as a professional textile international exhibition, compared with other exhibitions such as fabric exhibition, clothing exhibition and other exhibitions, the scale of the ten years' scale and the area of exhibitors participating in the exhibition have changed little. The exhibition area has been maintained at 3000~6000 square meters."

But judging from the changes in the yarn exhibition over the past ten years, Huang Chimu said that the yarn exhibition is still growing and has an irreplaceable advantage. In the past ten years, the area of the yarn exhibition has expanded from the initial 3000 square meters to the current 6400 square meters. The number of exhibitors has increased from around 100 years ago to nearly 200 now. The exhibition quality has been further improved and the layout is more scientific. It has set up an important platform for the enterprises to display the upstream technological innovation strength of the textile industry chain, and it is a concentrated expression of the trend of the textile industry's source.

Although ten years Yarn Expo Good results have been achieved, but compared with other exhibitions, the development level and speed of yarn exhibitions are not outstanding. Huang Chimu said that the reason for this situation is closely related to the nature of the industry. The technological development and technological R & D cycle of fiber and yarn is longer, and the processing procedures such as fabrics, clothing and other finished products are displayed, and the trend of fashion changes faster, so the development speed is much faster than that of yarns and fibers.

In the past ten years, although the yarn exhibition has been on display independently, and has been on display with fabrics, knitted and home textile exhibitions, it is a small exhibition, but it still receives the China Textile Industry Federation and cotton spinning. Linen spinning The yarn exhibition, as the source of the textile industry, is supported and valued by the industry. It is an indispensable window for the development of new textile technology in China's textile power.

Huang Chimu said: "in the past ten years, the yarn exhibition has shown the cutting-edge scientific and technological achievements in the industry. After ten years of development, the function of the yarn exhibition is no longer limited to the display of science and technology. The enterprises are offering orders, and more are providing platform for inter industry communication and industrial chain cooperation." At the same time, she said that in the past ten years, the yarn show has a clearer development direction.
