Rumors that Jean Paul Gaultier decided to sell the brand to Puig group within a few months were afraid of being swallowed by another luxury giant group LVMH.

Ironically, as early as 90s, Jean Paul Gaultier had deliberately called LVMH to take over her business, but the latter refused to do so.
