Jimmy Choo Profit Growth
Jimmy Choo chief executive Pierre Denis said in a telephone interview that the sales growth of the brand in the past year mainly came from the retail market, including 9 new stores, China accounted for more than half.
The latest earnings report shows that footwear as a brand's main category contributes 3/4 of sales.

Denis even said that the sharp decline in the number of Russian tourist consumers is bound to have an impact on our 2015 performance. However, he believes China's tourism consumers should be able to make up for this gap.

Sohil Chotai, an analyst at Edison Investment Research UK, said: "other luxury brands are slowing down their pace of expansion in China and the Asia Pacific region, while Jimmy Choo's penetration in the Asia Pacific region is not enough.
In our view, it will find a growth point in the key luxury market (China).
Asked whether the company will reduce the price of the Chinese market with the pace of Chanel to narrow the global spread, Denis replied that the company has not made any price adjustment action, "we are all concerned about this issue and consider how to deal with it".
