Muji Muji is stepping up its expansion to the US market.

According to media reports, in July of this year, Muji Muji will open a 5000 square foot new shop in Stanford Shopping Center of Palo Alto, Palo Alto, California.

This means that Muji will take an important step in the US market to enter the shopping mall channel.

MUJI said that the brand now has 9 stores in the US market and keeps 30% sales growth, which is much higher than that of the group's 2015 financial year group's overall growth of 18%.

The brand's US president, Asako Shimazaki, said the new one opened in California in July.

It also announced that it would double the number of only 20 stores in the United States by the fall of this year, that is, it plans to add 18 new stores in the next 2 months, in Boston, Philadelphia and South California.

Over the past five years, Muji Muji and Uniqlo Uniqlo have become the most popular two Japanese brands. Although the difference between the styles of the two brands is very great, they have become the focus of the industry due to the success of business concepts and rapid expansion.
