Keqiao Import And Export Value Increased 45.41% In January

In the first month of the new year, Shaoxing's foreign trade in Zhejiang has a good start.

In February 22nd, Shaoxing Customs announced that in January this year, Shaoxing achieved a total import and export value of 23 billion 500 million yuan, a record high in the single month, an increase of 22.6% over the same period last year, leading to 13.9 percentage points of the country's growth rate.

Among them, 21 billion 800 million yuan of foreign trade exports, an increase of 25.7%; imports of 1 billion 700 million yuan, down 7.2%.

Shaoxing's foreign trade reached a new high in January, making great contributions to the traditional advantageous products of Shaoxing, such as textiles and garments.

Statistics show that Shaoxing textile and garment exports achieved 14 billion 420 million yuan, an increase of 35.8%; the export of mechanical and electrical products reached 3 billion 930 million yuan, an increase of 20.7%; the total exports accounted for 84% of the total export value of the city.

It is noteworthy that some export commodities in Shaoxing have seen a high growth rate. The export volume of non forged copper and copper products is 290 million yuan, an increase of 65.9%, and the export of furniture and parts is 280 million yuan, an increase of 1.5 times.

According to the data from various districts and counties (cities), in January, the import and export trade of Keqiao district was particularly eye-catching, with an export value of 9 billion 210 million yuan, an increase of 45.41% over the same period last year, and contributed most to the export growth of the city.

"Transformation and upgrading of Keqiao textile printing and dyeing enterprises are playing a positive role in exports."

Keqiao District Commerce Bureau official pointed out that, especially from Keqiao some large foreign trade enterprises to investigate the situation, since last October, the export situation has obviously improved.
