In a keynote speech at the forum, Sun Ruizhe, President of the China Federation of textile industry, said that in the past seventy years, China has become the largest producer, consumer and exporter of textiles and clothing in the country. At present, the textile and garment industry is accelerating to become an innovation driven technology industry, a culture led fashion industry and a responsible green industry.

The clothing customization which is discussed today combines the technological innovation of the garment industry and the innovation of the business model. It also integrates the technological innovation of the garment industry and the innovation of consumer culture. At the same time, it also integrates the supply side reform and the upgrading of the demand in the garment industry. So the clothing customization is becoming the frontier highland of carrying the clothing industry to seek "the strength of the country, the win of the enterprise and the life of the people".

He said that by 2025, more than 50% of the business clothing and business casual wear market will be completed by custom, and the scale will exceed 50 billion. The penetration rate of the crowd in the customized clothing market will continue to grow. It is estimated that in the next five years, the overall garment customization market and the extension industry will break through 100 billion scale, and there will be a large number of customized brands with vertical subdivision.
