In September 2020, China'S Clothing Export Volume Decreased By 10.64% Month On Month
According to the latest statistics of the General Administration of Customs of China, in September 2020, China's textile and clothing export volume was 28.377 billion US dollars, a decrease of 8.24% month on month. Among them, the export volume of textiles (including textile yarn, fabrics and products) was US $13152.1 billion, a decrease of 10.64% on a month on month basis; the export volume of clothing (including clothing and accessories) was $152252.2 billion, a decrease of 6.06% on a month on month basis.
From January to September in 2020, China's textile and garment exports amounted to US $215783.9 billion, an increase of 9.36% over the same period of last year, of which the cumulative export of textiles was 117.950.1 billion US dollars, an increase of 33.72% over the same period of last year, and the cumulative export of clothing was 97.833.8 billion US dollars, down 10.33% year on year.
