The United States Made A Positive Final Judgment On The Damage Of China'S Cable Ties

On March 23, 2021, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to make an affirmative final determination on industrial injury caused by anti-dumping and countervailing measures against twisted ties imported from China, and concluded that the products involved in the case claimed to have dumping and government subsidies caused substantial damage to the domestic industries of the United States. Based on the affirmative final judgment of the US International Trade Commission, the US Department of Commerce will issue anti-dumping and countervailing duty orders on the products involved in the case.

On July 17, 2020, in response to an application filed by Bedford industries, Inc. of the United States on June 26, 2020, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced an anti-dumping and countervailing investigation on ties imported from China. On August 7, 2020, the U.S. International Trade Commission voted to make an affirmative preliminary determination on industrial injury caused by anti-dumping and countervailing measures for ties imported from China. On November 24, 2020, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced a preliminary affirmative countervailing ruling on ties imported from China. On December 4, 2020, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced an affirmative preliminary anti-dumping ruling on ties imported from China. On February 17, 2021, the U.S. Department of Commerce announced the final determination of anti-dumping and countervailing measures against ties imported from China.
