In accordance with the product quality law of the people's Republic of China, the law of the people's Republic of China on the protection of consumers' rights and interests, and the Interim Measures for supervision and random inspection of product quality, the General Administration of market supervision has comprehensively analyzed and judged the situation of product quality and safety, fully listened to the opinions and suggestions of all sectors of the society, and organized and formulated the national supervision and random inspection plan for 2021 annual output of quality, which is hereby promulgated.

In 2021, the national supervision and random inspection of product quality will be carried out, and the requirements of the outline of the 14th five year plan for national economic and social development will be implemented. Focusing on the comprehensive implementation of the strategy of strengthening the country through quality, people's livelihood oriented and problem-oriented, production and circulation, online and offline integrated supervision will be adhered to, and consumer products for people's livelihood and supplies for special groups will be highlighted, and safety indicators and key performance indicators will be more focused 。 A total of 137 products were included in the spot check plan, including 36 kinds of electronic and electrical products, 6 kinds of agricultural means of production, 19 kinds of building and decoration materials, 7 kinds of electrical and material products, 23 kinds of machinery and security products, 20 kinds of daily use and textiles, 14 kinds of durable consumer goods and 12 kinds of food related products.

The General Administration of market supervision will conscientiously organize and carry out national supervision and random inspection of product quality in accordance with the random inspection plan, timely publish the results of random inspection, and investigate and punish illegal acts of product quality according to law. While carrying out the national supervision and random inspection as planned, the General Administration of market supervision will, according to the actual situation, adjust the contents of the spot check and organize the special supervision and random inspection for the products beyond the plan.
