30 candidates nominated for 2021 "China Intangible Cultural Heritage person of the year"

Under the guidance of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Department of the Ministry of culture and tourism, the promotion campaign of 2021 "person of the year of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage" sponsored by Guangming Daily and guangming.com has produced 30 nominees.

Since its launch, the 2021 "person of the year of China's intangible cultural heritage" selection and publicity campaign has attracted wide attention from all walks of life. On January 19, 2022, a list of 100 candidates was announced. Recently, after voting and commenting by the intangible cultural heritage communication expert committee of Guangming Daily, the Organizing Committee of the event has determined 30 candidates from 100 candidates based on inheriting groups, comprehensively considering various factors such as candidate region, category, composition, etc., and fully measuring the representativeness, leading, innovative, exemplary and annual representativeness of candidates. Among them, there are 23 inheritors, 2 managers, 5 researchers, media people, communicators and educators. The 23 inheritors cover eight of the ten categories of intangible cultural heritage, including 19 national level inheritors, 1 provincial level inheritors, 2 municipal inheritors and 1 district level inheritors.

　　 According to statistics, four representative figures of textile intangible cultural heritage have entered the list of 30 nominees for 2021 "annual figure of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage".
