According to statistics of Vietnam (GSO), in February 2022, Vietnam's textile and garment exports reached 2.058 billion US dollars, an increase of 80.81% year-on-year, and a decrease of 42.38% on a month on month basis; Yarn export volume was 132400 tons, up 54.27% year-on-year, and decreased by 8.20% month on month; The import volume of yarn was 80600 tons, an increase of 82.40% year-on-year and a decrease of 13.65% on a month on month basis; The import volume of fabrics was 943 million US dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 99.71% and a month on month decrease of 32.24%.

From January to February 2022, Vietnam's total textile and clothing exports reached 5.629 billion US dollars, an increase of 48.18% year-on-year; The total export volume of yarn was 276600 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 10.48%; Yarn imports totaled 174000 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 11.24%; Fabric imports totaled $2.335 billion, up 47.79% year on year.

From January to February 2022, the total import and export of commodities reached 108.5 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year increase of 13%. The export volume reached 53.79 billion US dollars, with a year-on-year growth of 10.2%. Among them, 9 kinds of bulk commodities accounted for 71.6% of the total exports. The largest commodity exporting country was the United States, with a total value of 18.3 billion US dollars. The main importing countries were China, South Korea and ASEAN, with a total amount of 1 billion US dollars.
