RCEP: Textile Export Growth Of Fujian Province

Benefiting from the policy dividend brought by the entry into force of RCEP (regional comprehensive economic partnership), Fujian's textile and garment export has shown a growth trend since this year. According to the statistics of Xiamen Customs, from January to February this year, the total value of textile and clothing exports of our province reached 26.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.9%.

Data show that private enterprises are the main force of textile and clothing export in our province. From January to February, the textile and clothing exports of private enterprises in our province reached 20.22 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%, accounting for 75.5% of the total value of textile and clothing exports in the same period; Foreign invested enterprises exported 4.06 billion yuan of textile and clothing, up 16.1% year on year; The export of textile and clothing by state-owned enterprises reached 2.52 billion yuan, up 49.8% year on year.

ASEAN, EU and the United States are the main export markets of our province. From January to February, the textile and clothing exports of our province to ASEAN reached 6.79 billion yuan, an increase of 13.1% over the same period of last year. The textile and clothing exports to the European Union and the United States reached 4.36 billion yuan and 2.93 billion yuan respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 17.5% and 12.4%.
