By 2021, Zhejiang Province has formed more than 40 textile and clothing industrial clusters with more than 5 billion yuan, 22 industrial clusters with more than 10 billion yuan, and 3 industrial clusters with more than 50 billion yuan; It has 10 Eagle enterprises, 58 listed companies, 17 single champion demonstration enterprises (products) and 8 invisible champion enterprises.

According to statistics, in 2021, the total industrial output value and business income of textile and clothing enterprises in Zhejiang Province broke through the trillion mark for the first time, and the scale and export volume ranked first in China. The industry's three major indicators of production and sales, efficiency, and export rebounded significantly. For example, the profits of textile and chemical fiber increased by 7.1% and 201.5% respectively, and the export increased by 10.2% and 30.3%, showing a good situation of "bottoming up and pressure rising".

Sun Boyong said in the report that: the global economic and trade environment is complex and changeable, the epidemic situation of new crown pneumonia is constantly repeated, the cost of raw materials is rising sharply, the gap of labor resources is increasing, the pressure of dual control of energy consumption is increasing, the supply chain is full of obstacles, and the market competition is becoming increasingly fierce. The global economy has entered a period of stagflation and depression, and the textile and clothing industry is not immune.
