On the morning of June 28, the opening ceremony of the 2023 China (Tianmen) Garment E-commerce Summit, hosted by the China Textile Industry Federation and Tianmen Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Circulation Branch of the China Textile Industry Federation, Wuhan Textile University, Tianmen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Hubei Tianmen Modern Textile Industry Technology Research Institute, was held in Tianmen Stadium. China Textile Industry Federation and Circulation Branch will integrate high-quality resources in the industry and jointly build a demonstration base for China's apparel e-commerce industry with Tianmen.

　　 Nie Linhai said that at present, the accelerated evolution of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation has provided a good foundation for the sustainable and healthy development of e-commerce industry. Clothing e-commerce is one of the fastest growing e-commerce fields in recent years, with broad market prospects. It will show a more diversified, personalized and capitalized trend in the future. It is hoped that Tianmen will further promote the deep integration of apparel e-commerce and digital industry, creative industry and cultural industry, vigorously develop e-commerce formats, comprehensively optimize the business environment, and promote the development of apparel e-commerce industry to achieve new breakthroughs.

　　 Zhou Kaibin said that in recent years, the Tianmen Municipal Party Committee and the municipal government seized the opportunity of the textile and clothing industry transfer and workers' return in coastal areas, took advantage of the momentum and took the initiative to put forward the goal of building a "national apparel e-commerce industry demonstration base" scientifically and accurately, and promoted the coordinated development of apparel e-commerce and apparel production, with a rapid momentum and a promising future. The Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology will conscientiously implement the provincial party committee and the provincial government's decision and deployment on high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry, increase the policy support and organizational support for the development of the Tianmen clothing e-commerce industry, and help the Tianmen clothing e-commerce industry to upgrade, become bigger and stronger, make features, and build its brand.

　　 Tian Huiyu said that Wuhan Textile University is the only university named "Textile" in China at present. Since its establishment 65 years ago, it has always adhered to the original intention of "Textile", focused on solving key problems in the field of textile and clothing, and helped the high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry. The school cooperated with the Tianmen Municipal Government to jointly build Hubei Tianmen Textile and Garment Industry Technology Research Institute, and selected several teachers to serve as the vice president of science and technology in Tianmen enterprises. The school enterprise cooperation has yielded fruitful results. It is believed that by continuously deepening the cooperation between government, local government and enterprises, and continuously optimizing the integrated development model of government, enterprises and universities, it will certainly add new momentum to the new development of Tianmen clothing e-commerce industry.

　　 At the opening ceremony, Xu Jianhua, Vice President of Circulation Branch of China Textile Industry Federation and Chairman of China Textile and Clothing E-commerce Alliance, released the Development Plan of Tianmen Garment E-commerce Industrial Base (2023-2026). The action plan for the next three years was explained in detail. It will focus on the general goal of "China's apparel e-commerce industry demonstration base", comprehensively build "Tianmen Yishang" regional brand digital IP, and comprehensively build a new digital cluster, characteristic service cluster and e-commerce innovation base with obvious industrial agglomeration, complete supporting chain, sound ecosystem, strong innovation vitality, open cooperation and win-win results.

　　 Representatives from all walks of life of China's apparel e-commerce industry jointly released the Tianmen Declaration on Promoting the Development of China's apparel e-commerce industry.

　　 It is worth mentioning that the highly anticipated "Tianmen Cup" China Garment E-commerce Fashion Anchor Competition and the compilation of "National Garment E-commerce Industry Prosperity Index · Tianmen Index" were also officially launched during the opening ceremony of the Summit today.

　　 The opening ceremony also held the awarding ceremony of Hubei Tianmen Modern Textile Industry Technology Research Institute.
