After more than 30 years of development, around the "sun" of the Zhongda cloth market, a large number of garment factories and small workshops have gradually settled in the surrounding Kangle and Lujiang areas. At the meeting, Peng Xiongjun, the person in charge of the special shift for the transformation, upgrading and gradient orderly transfer of the textile and clothing industry in the Zhongda Business District of Haizhu District, said that at present, the old urban reform work in Haizhu District is gradually advancing, and the key area is in Kanglu District. At the meeting, a representative enterprise said, "In the Zhongda Textile Business District, the delivery cycle of a batch of clothes only takes three days: the first day, customers get the version and find the fabric, and the factory determines the version and cuts the fabric that night; the second day, the factory starts to make goods, and the third day, the goods can be delivered to the warehouse in the morning. If you arrive in Qingyuan, it may be difficult to have this efficiency."

An enterprise representative told the reporter that 80% to 90% of the "bosses" of Kanglu Garment Factory expressed nostalgia for the Guangzhou market. So, is "going back home" a good option? The on-site enterprise representatives believed that most of Haizhu's garment factories were "small tadpoles", highly relying on Guangzhou's garment industry chain, including Zhongda Business District, Shahe Business District, Shisanhang Business District, etc. "Production must have sales to produce benefits in the shortest possible time, which is impossible in our hometown. In addition, many young workers are unwilling to go back to their hometown."

Panyu, Xintang and other places become new choices for industrial cluster development

It is reported that many garment factories choose to move to Panyu District nearby. "Panyu is a good place, but now there is no place for more than 7000 garment factories to settle in Panyu. The industry must be concentrated and developed. Teng Huaguo, president of Hubei Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong Province, said that there are many Hubei garment enterprises in Haizhu District, and Hubei garment people should take "contributing to the industry" as the principle to discuss and seek common development plans. At the same time, Liang Fubin, president of the Fashion Industry Association of Hubei Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong Province, promised that the Chamber of Commerce would organize Hubei to conduct research and investigation on places conducive to the development of the clothing industry according to the transfer of Haizhu and the current situation of the industry, so as to find a new world for the development of the clothing industry.
