Vietnam International Textile Festival VIATT 2024 Attracts Global Attention

Vietnam International Clothing, Textile and Textile Technology Fair (Vietnam VIATT 2024) will be held in Saigon Convention and Exhibition Center in Ho Chi Minh City from February 28 to March 1, 2024. The participants will display textile raw materials, industrial textiles and machinery, nonwoven products, clothing, household textiles and textile products used for various purposes.

The exhibition was jointly organized by Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and the Trade Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam. VIATT is part of the Texpertise network of Messe Frankfurt. The Texpertise network covers the whole textile industry chain in various subdivisions, including research, development, yarn, fabric, clothing, fashion, contract manufacturing, home and household textiles, technical textiles, processing and clean technology.

VIETRADE, Vietnam's Ministry of Industry and Trade, has 23 years of rich experience in promoting trade, investment and commercial activities between Vietnam and other countries in the world. It has been committed to assisting Vietnam and the international business community in developing markets and improving trade promotion capabilities.

The exhibition area is 15000 square meters, with more than 400 exhibitors from Bulgaria, China, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Pakistan, Switzerland, Thailand, the United Kingdom, the United States, Vietnam and other countries.

Vietnam is one of the largest importers of textile machinery in the world, and also a continuous importer of fabrics, yarns and fibers. Garment production is the cornerstone of the country's industry. Vietnam's home textile industry plays a vital role in the country's socio-economic development. The emerging young consumer groups are more and more inclined to household modernization. They have a huge demand for bedding, curtains, towels, carpets, blankets and other household textiles. As Vietnam is the fifth largest textile exporter in the world, it not only has certain advantages in textile manufacturing, but also has a rapid development in demand for textile machinery.
