On November 13, Li Gang, Director of the Department of Market Operation and Consumption Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce and Director of the National Cocoon and Silk Coordination Office, led Wang Yong, Director of the Department of Market Operation and Consumption Promotion's Important Commodities Division, and Li Baoxing, Deputy Director of the Department of Market Operation and Consumption Promotion, to China Silk Association to carry out work research. Tang Lin, President of the China Silk Association, Qian Youqing, Secretary of the Party Branch and Chief Supervisor, Li Xin, Vice President, Liu Wenquan, Vice President and Secretary General of the China Silk Association, and heads of relevant departments accompanied the investigation.

At the research forum, President Tang Lin thanked the National Cocoon and Silk Office of the Ministry of Commerce for its years of careful guidance and strong support for the work of the Association, and briefly introduced the development of the silk industry, the work of the Association, the work of the central reserve of raw silk, and relevant suggestions for the development of the industry. It is hoped that the National Cocoon and Silk Office of the Ministry of Commerce will continue to care about and support the cocoon and silk industry, give full play to its leading and guiding role, and promote the continuous innovation and development of the cocoon and silk industry. The Association will fully perform its duties, actively cooperate with the National Cocoon and Silk Office, and work with the whole industry to promote the high-quality development of China's silk industry.

Director Li Gang listened carefully to the report and fully affirmed the work of the Association. He stressed that the cocoon and silk industry, as a classic industry in China's history, has a unique position in cultural heritage and international trade. The National Cocoon and Silk Office pays close attention to the development of the silk industry. The purpose of this survey is to understand the actual situation of the industry development, so as to better formulate relevant policies, give more play to the role of the association through policy guidance and market incentives, promote the structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading of the silk industry, and further promote the high-quality development of the silk industry.

During the survey, President Tang Lin also accompanied Director Li Gang and his delegation to investigate the stores of Shanghai Zhaowu Brand Management Co., Ltd.'s WoWOO brand in Beijing International Trade Mall, and to learn about the enterprise's product research and development and brand building.
