This pair of filming "Tazi" is a foreign intern who joined the "Sweater Sect" platform we media operation team in Honghe Town in September 2024.

"The two of us are graduate students majoring in journalism and communication from Donghua University. At present, we are mainly responsible for short video production and international communication." Tian Min said that he and Xia Feike have a clear division of labor. Why did two "foreigners" come across the sea to practice in the town?

Since its launch, the number of exported sweaters has exceeded 16.9 million, and the cumulative sales have exceeded 51.6 million dollars.

Under the background of "selling globally", Kenya, Pakistan and other countries are the target markets of Honghe sweaters. For Tian Min and Xia Feike, this is a professional practice opportunity.

"My mother is very supportive of my development in China, and she also likes fashion design. Therefore, I hope that through my efforts, more high-quality sweaters will be introduced to our country, so that more people can understand and like this kind of dress." Tian Min said.

During the internship, Tian Min and Xia Feike went to the factory workshop and sweater stores every day to learn about the production process, processing technology and the latest sweater styles.

In the process of communicating with factory bosses and sweater operators, they also deepened their understanding of sweater products and regional culture, accumulating rich content materials for video production.

"I don't need translation in my daily communication now." Tian Min is confident about his Chinese level. He said that although he came to China in August 2023, he has studied Chinese for more than four years

Now, with the blessing of "foreigners" interns, Honghe Sweater has gained a wave of fans on the overseas We Media platform.

"With the help of the faces of foreign colleagues, our short video creation and international communication have become more grounded and persuasive, which has boosted the popularity and international influence of sweaters," said Chen Chen, the head of new media operations of the "sweaters" platform.
