The Bureau Of Textile Retired Cadres Conveys And Studies The Spirit Of The National "Double First" Commendation Conference For Retired Cadres And The National Conference Of Directors Of Retired Cadres

　　 In the afternoon of January 2, the Bureau of Textile Retired Cadres held a general meeting to convey the spirit of the important speech of General Secretary Xi Jinping when he met with the advanced collectives and advanced personal representatives of retired cadres nationwide, the spirit of the "Double First" commendation meeting for retired cadres nationwide, and the spirit of the National Conference of Directors of Retired Cadres, to study, deploy, and implement the work. Director Li Zhanhong presided over the meeting.  

　　 The meeting conveyed and learned the spirit of Li Ganjie, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, secretary of the Secretariat of the Central Committee, and head of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, in his speech at the National "Double First" Commendation Conference for Retired Cadres, and the deployment requirements of Jiang Xin, vice chairman of the CPPCC National Committee and vice minister in charge of daily work of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, in implementing the spirit of the National "Double First" Commendation Conference for Retired Cadres, It introduced the commendation of the "Double First" representatives of retired cadres and the advanced deeds of relevant comrades, and conveyed and learned the spirit of Huang Jianfa, Vice Minister of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, at the National Conference of Directors of Veteran Cadres.  

　　 The meeting pointed out that the National "Double First" Commendation Conference for Retired Cadres and the National Conference of Directors of Retired Cadres are very important meetings held under the new situation that the whole party thoroughly implements the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee and further comprehensively deepens the reform, which has important practical and far-reaching historical significance for the work of veteran cadres in the new era and new journey. General Secretary Xi Jinping cordially received the honored representatives of the advanced collectives and advanced individuals of retired cadres in the Great Hall of the People, expressed warm congratulations to them, and hoped that they would carry forward the glorious tradition, maintain their political nature, and continue to make positive contributions to the great cause of comprehensively promoting the construction of a strong country and national rejuvenation with Chinese style modernization. This fully reflects the Party Central Committee's respect and concern for veteran comrades and the high importance it attaches to the work of retired cadres.  

　　 The meeting stressed that in the next step, the spirit of the two meetings should be carefully conveyed, studied and implemented. First, we need to further hold a special bureau meeting to seriously consider and plan the work of veteran cadres in 2025 around the implementation of the spirit of the meeting. Guided by the spirit of the "Double First" commendation meeting and the national conference of directors of veteran cadres, we will integrate the leaders' heavy trust and work requirements into the key work points in 2025, ensure that the spirit and requirements of the conference are implemented and effective, and apply the spirit of the conference to guide and promote the work. Second, we should make use of the opportunity of visiting retired cadres during the Spring Festival to preach the spirit of the meeting among veteran comrades, and pass on the great importance that General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee attach to the work of veteran cadres and the cordial care for retired cadres to veteran comrades. Third, we should make full use of the bureau's WeChat official account, the WeChat groups of all party branches and the Textile Work Newsletter, widely study and publicize the outstanding deeds of the retired cadres' "double first" representatives, and guide the retired cadres to contribute "silver hair power" to the construction of Chinese style modernization. Fourth, we should do a solid job of visiting and comforting veteran cadres and comrades before the Spring Festival, and do a good job of service work with heart and feelings, implement the instructions and requirements of the CPC Central Committee and General Secretary Xi Jinping, and strive to make the CPC Central Committee reassured and veteran cadres satisfied.
