Xi'an Has Built The First High-Performance Carbon Fiber Production Line In Shaanxi Province.

Recently, the first high performance carbon fiber production engineering line in Shaanxi was built in Xi'an Aerospace Composite Research Institute. High performance carbon fiber is a special kind of fiber material. It is widely used in aviation and aerospace industries such as aircraft wings and high pressure vessels. It is known as the king of new generation materials.


Liu Yongqiong, director of Xi'an aerospace composites research institute, said that high performance carbon fiber as a strategic basic material supporting the development of cutting-edge technology has been mastered by a few developed countries for many years. After the completion of the high performance carbon fiber production line of Xi'an aerospace composites research institute, it will not only break the blockade and monopoly of foreign high-performance carbon fiber products, but also greatly reduce the price of such products, and promote the development of aerospace industry in Shaanxi and China.
