As a participant in several kinds of large and small food exhibitions, I was sitting in the exhibition hall of the Mianyang Western fair. I saw many exhibitors and various display and sales methods, which not only made me worry about the abnormal state of mind that the enterprises in the exhibition economy faced with in the development of the exhibition economy, but also what kind of situation the enterprises would have.


With the gradual development and maturity of the exhibition economy in China, while providing a wide trading platform for factories and businessmen, we also need to ponder whether they are suitable for our enterprises and whether they meet the needs and objectives of the enterprises at this stage.

Never blindly follow the trend.


In the Western Commodity Fair held in Mianyang, Sichuan, there are more and more trade fairs.

Companies that invest millions or even tens of millions of dollars can be seen everywhere.

But what are the successes and failures? What is the result of joy and sorrow? The main force of the grand event, after deliberation, is it successful or failed?


The fair attracts lots of exhibitors and dealers every year. It provides a good display, communication and negotiation, and also creates huge tax revenue and economic activity for the local government.

But in front of this series of beautiful things, what is displayed in front of the enterprise? A great deal of money to participate in the event, the exhibition did get a lot of intent contracts.

But after returning to the company, the success of the contract is very few.

It is not directly proportional to the efforts and efforts made by the enterprises at the fair.


Of course, there are good results, after careful planning and strict control and effective implementation of the company, not only in the venue signed a lot of intentional contracts, after returning to the company, after the timely tracking of personnel, the number of successful signing customers is also more.


But the good scenery is not long. This kind of enterprise quickly develops the market by using the achievements obtained from the exhibition, and makes use of the exhibition's momentum to pave the way for the image of the enterprise, and establishes the enthusiasm of the distributor.

However, it ignores the brand maintenance of enterprises, ignores the incentives of dealers, and ignores the pull of consumers.


As a result, sales in the early stage were abnormal, but in the later period there was a lot of problems in the market. The customer complaints and returns were always entangled in the enterprise.


There is also a phenomenon that often appears in the exhibition economy - "like the exhibition as a life-saving straw", these enterprises do not pay attention to the internal management and external coordination of enterprises, blindly hold the company's life gate in various large and small exhibitions.

But it is very difficult to find partners (dealers), but do not know how to cherish, because of their operational and governance problems, so that they have lost their customers.


With the gradual improvement of China's exhibition economy, our entrepreneurs will have to think deeply that blind exhibitions will not bring long-term development to enterprises. If we want enterprises to be successful at every exhibition and achieve good results, we need to manage the process and pay attention to the process.


1, to promote development through governance, only governance must benefit, and the operation and development of enterprises must be based on the effectiveness of governance.

Establish a governance system based on efficiency.

We must improve the governance system and dealer development plan and product marketing strategy that can be adapted to the development of enterprises. At the same time, we must set up the incentive mechanism for personnel, and establish a talent awareness and talent upgrading mechanism under the premise that only governance should be effective.


2, establish a two-way vendor cooperation mechanism based on business philosophy.

Set up a business system suitable for the development of enterprises and foster opportunities for exchanges and cooperation among manufacturers.

Enhance the common character of long-term cooperation between the two sides.

To create the best environment and opportunity for enterprises by combining various strengths.


3, take the exhibition as the starting point, pay attention to the attention of the process.

The end of each exhibition should be the beginning of the whole work, followed by tracking and executing the results of the whole exhibition, and improving the work that has not been completed or not perfected at the exhibition.


Whether it is the use of trade fairs or investment by other ways, it is only a starting point for the whole work. How to complete the next work is the core of the enterprise. Only by improving the results of the exhibition will the success of the exhibition be achieved.
