Designers shook the western fashion world with the spirit of kamikaze.

Today, their works are once again stirring in BB London Gallery.

After visiting, people who are not familiar with Japanese fashion are not afraid of their ignorance, and those who delight in it will be proud of them.

The exhibition will reveal the originality and depth of Japanese fashion aesthetic culture.

30 years of review, the exhibition will easily capture you when you cross the porch.

"I am honored to be the first person to appreciate these exhibits," the curator, Catherine Ince, described.

This is a pure exhibition of Japanese elements.

  


From the first moment of entering the exhibition hall, in such a peaceful and holy state, you will be able to feel the solemnity and even the Zen of the costume like a sculpture.

  


The first floor exhibition area contains a number of independent and interrelated regions, formed by a semi pparent curtain, reflecting soft silver light.

These lightweight drapery, and some practical, even "shabby".



The clothing materials, such as felt, cashmere, nylon and polyester, remind the visitors all the time. The idea of "material supremacy" rooted in the Japanese aesthetics is actually used in this exhibition.

  


Under the guidance of layers of silver grey curtain, the exhibition areas that are randomly and loosely set appear in front of the visitors. They all run through the Japanese fashion concept.

In the exhibition area named "the praise of light or image", even though the fabric of the clothing reflects the red or yellow light, the deconstruction of the profile is bold enough to make people curious, yet it still feels delicate and exquisite.

Of course, there is always such a black look - back in 1980s, when designers first sent them to T, the fashion world was terrified - and white, and the plain colors between them.

  


The two floor is the designer's personal exhibition space. Here, you will realize that Japanese fashion has not only a unique style but also a stereotyped style.

They are more than just tearing cloth, and how much serious they are, and how much wit they have.

One of them, who has profound knowledge of geometry, is bold and original in using recycled resin nylon, with precision cutting, so that dark colored clothes hang on Dragonfly irises.

Then, Wakubo Rei, the mother of Japanese modernism, inspired a new generation of designers, including Watanabe Junya.

Thirty years ago, Wakubo Rei founded the brand Commes des Gar with distinct personal aesthetics.

Her keen observation and ingenious design techniques make her dress elegant and enchanting.

For those Western designers who haven't even touched a dream, Wakubo Rei can always give an excellent answer.

  


Yamamoto Teruji, who became famous in 1982, can be seen as the finishing touch of this exhibition. His low-key and elegant design will make Cristbal Balenciaga cry.

After 1950s, no one has ever gone beyond that Spanish master's fashion experiment with such wonderful cutting and supreme simplicity.
