In October 30th, Tongxiang International Silk City and China's first silk procurement festival was officially opened in Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province, and the first ten silk quilts in Zhejiang province were held in the same period.

On the morning of October 30th, Tao Taoyu, director of the Institute of resources and environmental policy of the State Council Development Research Center, Li Huaiyi, Secretary of the party history teaching and Research Department of the Central Party school, Wang Di, President of the Chinese Buddhist culture foundation, Qian Youqing, Secretary General of the China Silk Association, Gu Zhenyu, chairman of the Standing Committee of the Tongxiang Municipal People's Congress, Chi Xiaoming, chairman of the Tongxiang Municipal Committee of CPPCC, Shen Jixian of the Tongxiang Municipal Committee, United Front secretary, and vice mayor of Tongxiang, attended the opening ceremony.

Tongxiang international silk city is the first silk specialty in China.

Developing Chinese silk

All circles have high hopes for Tongxiang.

Silk silk industry is a long history industry in China. China's silk production and sales account for a large proportion of the world.

Tao Taoyu, director of the resource and Environment Policy Research Institute of the State Council Development Research Center, said that Tongxiang is an important production area of China's silk industry. It is necessary to make the silk industry bigger and stronger and make it an important industry in Tongxiang, thus becoming the research and development center of the silk industry in the whole country and even the world.

Qian Youqing, Secretary General of the China Silk Association, said that there are two ways to carry forward and develop the Chinese silk industry in the future: first, to make high-end products. Silk is the most valuable material for China to make luxury goods. We want to create luxury goods in China. We must start with silk. Two, we have to go to the homes of ordinary people. Silk quilts are the most representative products, and have developed rapidly in recent years.

Tongxiang is one of the main silk production bases in China. As the main circulation market of the production base, we hope that Tongxiang silk city will play a positive leading role in promoting the standardization and integrity management of the silk industry in Tongxiang and even the whole country.

Fei Yulin, vice mayor of Tongxiang, said that in recent years, the silk industry in Tongxiang has made rapid progress.

By the end of 2010, there were more than 300 silk enterprises in Tongxiang, and about 4000000 kinds of silk were produced annually, accounting for 30% of the total output of the country. The annual yield of silk was 300 thousand, accounting for 50% of the total output of the country, and the export of silk was about 70% of the country's total.

But at present, Tongxiang's silk is not strong enough by the enterprise, and it needs to further improve and upgrade its brand development.

We hope that silk enterprises will accurately grasp the development trend of the whole industry, seize the development opportunities, strive to realize their own rapid development, and make the whole silk industry bigger and stronger.

Integration of industrial chain

Silk city planning is full of confidence.

As the largest and better functional silk business city in Tongxiang, Chang Wei Real Estate Co., Ltd. has made some contributions to the team of Tongxiang international silk city. Lin Lili, the chairman of the company, said at the opening ceremony that Tongxiang international silk city will rely on the local strong silk in Tongxiang to be the industrial foundation, integrate more domestic industry resources, and strive to become the largest professional market of silk products in the country. In the mode of operation, Tongxiang international silk city will become the brand exhibition center, wholesale trading center and retail experience center of China's silk products.

The leaders and guests then visited Tongxiang international silk city.

On the first floor of Huzhou Nanxun Shang Hao silk exhibition hall, guests have a comprehensive understanding of Hu silk's long history, silk culture and superb craft.

On the two floor of the characteristic silk house, the guests, under the introduction of Qian Youqing, learned the principles and processes of silk quilts, and expressed their admiration for the environmental protection and high-grade home textile products.

It is understood that at present, silk floors are characterized by brand silk house, two layers of characteristic silk house, three layers of silk comprehensive hall and four layers of business supporting hall. As of the date of opening, there have been more than 240 merchants.

The quality inspection center, brand promotion center, R & D design center, e-commerce center, information distribution center, financing guarantee center and other public service departments are located in the four tier.

The activities of the day also invited Li Yunfei, Secretary of the Tongxiang Economic Development Zone Management Committee, Lu Chang, Secretary of the CPC Taishun County Committee and United Front Work Department, Lu Chang, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Standing Committee of the Taishun Provincial People's Congress, Lai Lifeng, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Taishun people's Congress, Chen Rong, chairman of the Tongxiang Wenzhou chamber of Commerce.

It is understood that the 2011 China's first silk procurement festival held by Tongxiang international silk city will end in December 4th, which lasted for more than 1 months.
