"Since the beginning of June, the recruitment recovery in France and Singapore has been the strongest, and the recruitment situation in Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom and Italy tends to be stable and shows signs of improvement; in China, the recruitment data dropped to the lowest in February, nearly 50% lower than that of the same period last year. However, as the epidemic situation entered the stage of normalization and prevention, the flow of talents in China has gradually recovered, up to the beginning of June China's recruitment data has increased by 13.4% year-on-year. " Recently, Wang Qian, general manager of LinkedIn China talent recruitment solutions, said in an interview with 21st century economic reporter.

Worldwide, the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, as well as the retail and express services needed to sustain people's lives during social isolation, have grown, according to LinkedIn. In China, the recruitment demand of education, health care, transportation and logistics, e-commerce and Food Express has increased significantly. At the same time, from the big data of LinkedIn platform, China ranks the sixth among the global medical R & D talent reserves.

Wang Xi pointed out that at present, there is a very clear information released in the aspect of talent recruitment, and digital talents are the most sought after by various industries. Both high-tech companies and traditional companies will pursue digital talents related to digital analysis, digital marketing and website operation.

15% of enterprises' recruitment goes against the current

Globally, in the past six weeks, the recruitment data of LinkedIn has continued to stabilize, and some countries have recovered, which is in sharp contrast to the sharp decline in mid and early March. Recruitment recoveries in France and Singapore have been the strongest since early June, with employment in Australia, the United States, the UK and Italy stabilizing and showing signs of improvement. However, due to the different economic and health policies in different countries, the specific trends still need to be paid more attention.

Wang Qian told the 21st century economic reporter that after the outbreak of the epidemic in Europe and other countries, their recruitment trend was similar to that of China, but now China has gradually begun to recover and rise. The outbreak time of each country is different, and it is still in a process from disorder to order.

According to reports, in China, the recruitment data of talents dropped to the lowest level in February, with a year-on-year decrease of nearly 50%. In the early stage of the epidemic, small and medium-sized enterprises may indeed be greatly affected. At the beginning of February this year, the number of small and medium-sized enterprises with less than 200 employees published 83% fewer jobs than last year. As of the end of May, the number of new jobs in small and medium-sized enterprises has increased by 13.0% as of the end of May.

For different industries, LinkedIn data shows that the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries worldwide, as well as the retail and express services needed to sustain people's lives during social isolation, have grown. In China, LinkedIn has seen significant growth in recruitment demand in sectors such as education, health care, transportation and logistics, e-commerce and food express. The manufacturing industry, retail industry and consumer goods industry increased significantly in May compared with April. Consumer goods and retail industry were not affected too much in the epidemic stage, so the whole recruitment demand of these two industries was relatively stable.

"High end and excellent talents are never the cost center but the profit center for every enterprise. Our survey found that 15% of the enterprises will go against the current, whether at the end of February or now, they will keep a special attention on the global market talents and recruit talents from the world. " Wang Qian told reporters of the 21st century economic report.

In addition, according to the survey of "insight into the employment trend of graduates in 2020", the industries most favored by graduates are Internet, e-commerce, electronic technology and communication. Perhaps affected by the epidemic factors and the overall situation of the industry, automobile, tourism and catering have become the industries left out by graduates.

Digital transformation of enterprises

Digital transformation is the development direction of many enterprises. Wang Xi said that the epidemic has accelerated the pace and pace of digital transformation, including in consumption, medicine and health and other fields.

Shen Lin, vice president of China human resources of L'Oreal, introduced to the 21st century economic reporter that China is now the second largest market of L'Oreal Group, and is also the leading-edge base for innovation and digitization of the group. It has digital applications in marketing, talent recruitment and other aspects.

At the end of 2019, at the second Hongqiao International Economic Forum, L'Oreal's chairman an Gong said that L'Oreal's e-commerce business in China accounted for about 40%. It is also reported that at present, L'Oreal China has 22 brands entering e-commerce, of which 48% of sales of YSL come from non store cities.

In terms of recruitment, L'Oreal has also used digital means to cooperate with LinkedIn in online campus recruitment. For example, Shen Lin said that from February to April, L'Oreal made a total of 17 live broadcasts and watched more than 310000 students. "In the past, it was difficult to achieve such a large number of on-site lectures on campus. Because it is about 500 person times to do a campus propaganda. If we do 20 lectures, it may be 10000 students, which is a huge difference from 310000 students. At the same time, 20 job fairs involve a lot of business trips, organizations, etc., so we increase efficiency through online, which is also a popular form for students. "

Pharmaceutical companies including Sanofi are also undergoing digital transformation. Wang Yi, head of Sanofi's talent management in China, told the 21st century economic report that Sanofi hopes to drive medical innovation through digital innovation in the next decade and become a leading digital medical enterprise.

"In the next five years, Sanofi is expected to introduce 25 kinds of innovative drugs and vaccines into the Chinese market. At the same time, we are also improving our digital capabilities, using digital innovative technologies to develop innovative health management models. To this end, we have established a digital acceleration center, with the entire team responsible for Sanofi's digital innovation strategy and planning the future path. " By the end of 2019, Sanofi will be ready to interact with about 25% of China's healthcare professionals, Wang said.

It is understood that Sanofi has established a global R & D operation center in Chengdu, focusing on digital innovation and big data analysis applications, involving data management and digital analysis of clinical projects, such as natural language processing, medical big data innovation, etc.

Digital talents are favored

With the transformation of enterprises, the talent structure is also changing.

"In recent years, L'Oreal has developed rapidly in terms of digitalization and e-commerce, so there is more demand for relevant talents. In the traditional recruitment, more are marketing and sales personnel. Now we need more talents in digital marketing, data management and e-commerce operation in the whole organizational structure. " Shen Lin analyzed to the 21st century economic reporter that some of the talents related to digital marketing and e-commerce operation come from the transformation of L'Oreal's internal talents, while others include external channels such as campus recruitment and social recruitment.

Shen Lin said that L'Oreal's digital marketing and e-commerce management in China are growing rapidly. "In terms of the company's talent management strategy, we don't want to simply recruit people from the market, but also want to have a good diversified team combination, so we will transfer some original functional departments from the internal to do these new positions; at the same time, there will be external recruitment, and we have a young management trainee system to cultivate new talents."

Similar to L'Oreal, Sanofi's digital marketing talents also come from the internal staff transformation. Wang Yi pointed out that at present, the whole pharmaceutical environment has changed, and the new business model also requires the ability transformation of employees. "We also help employees transform from traditional medicine representatives to" cloud representatives. "

Wang Yi pointed out that at the whole company level, every business department of Sanofi, such as the global business unit of general medicine, the regional business unit of specialty medicine, and the global business unit of vaccines, has reorganized digital and traditional business talents. Digital teams use their digital background to seek breakthroughs and innovations in business models, while employees from traditional business lines can closely grasp the development trend of business, market, patient demand and doctor demand.

At the same time, in Wang Qian's view, many enterprises in China are inseparable from digital talents in digital transformation.

"At present, both high-tech companies and traditional companies are chasing digital talents related to digital analysis, digital marketing, website operation, etc., which is a clearer signal we see after the epidemic." Wang Qian pointed out to the 21st century economic reporter.

It is understood that digital talents in Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Yangtze River Delta, Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao have accounted for about 20% of the total talents.

From the perspective of digital talents, a report on the development of innovative cities and urban agglomerations in the era of digital economy released by LinkedIn in November last year shows that globally, the proportion of digital talents in the medical industry ranks second only to manufacturing industry. It is expected that the new medical industry will become a digital highland in the future. The report also shows that globally, Boston, Philadelphia and San Francisco are the places where the healthcare industry has outstanding digital talent advantages. In China, the most advantageous location is Suzhou.
