"Before saying Dangdang's growth was 80%, it was an enlarged cake, and only 20% of them were stolen from the physical bookstore. Now I am more justifiably speaking.
Take last year as an example, Dangdang's book business is still growing by 50%, but the physical bookstore is still the growth of 3%-5%.

The latest financial report from Dangdang shows that in the 2010 fiscal year, Dangdang net revenue was 2 billion 280 million yuan, up 56% over the same period last year, and net profit reached 30 million 800 thousand yuan, up 82% over the same period last year.

However, despite being well ahead in the field of online book sales, Dangdang is not willing to "bite the book to the old". Following the announcement of the 2010 earnings report, Dangdang also disclosed plans to expand its product line to promote business development, and will increase its products in addition to media products such as books and DVD.
In addition to the three target categories of household products, maternity and infant products and skin care products, we will cultivate fourth target categories in the field of clothing this year, namely the "cottage goods" for clothing sales, but we will control the source of clothing.
Li Guoqing stressed that Dangdang will insist on selling free brands in the field of clothing, and now there are 500 clothing businesses that sell goods, and 50 of them will go to fans or Mcglaughlin.
"In addition, in the management of express companies, there must be a big strategy this year. Now the profits of the express company are getting thinner and the competition is becoming more and more intense. We should consider increasing the price of the express company."
Li Guoqing revealed that it will provide a 5% to 10% price increase for the courier company to cooperate with Dangdang, so as to cope with the wage increase of express company employees.
